Ouimet Scholars, Endowed Scholarship Creators, and Friends of The Fund gathered at Wellesley Country Club on June 9 for one of the most impactful nights on the Ouimet Calendar, the 23rd annual Investing in Lifetimes Reception.

This special evening celebrates the special connection between our generous Donors and exceptional Scholars. The event not only gives our Scholars the chance to meet and thank the creators of more than 200 Named Endowed Scholarships, but also allows Donors to see firsthand the lasting impact of their investment in education and opportunity.

The event fosters meaningful connections and brings to life the mission of the Named Endowed Scholarship program.

Attendees heard an inspirational message from recent Boston College graduate Sebastian Connelly ’26 about what working in golf and The Fund has meant to him and his family. Sheila Feeney, longtime assistant of Dick Connolly at Morgan Stanley, accepted The Fund’s Denny Goodrich Honorary Alumnus Award.

The event closed with a presentation from Ryan Carey, President and Founder of Golden Age Auctions, who shared stories about bringing to the forefront a collection of Francis Ouimet memorabilia, Tiger Woods’ iron set used for his career grand slam, and an Andy Warhol painting of Jack Nicklaus.
