Meet Keith Sturgis, one of the first Ouimet Scholars to take his scholarship to a post-secondary trade school, where he's training to become an electrician. He's proof that opportunity can take many forms, and we're proud to support him as he builds his future.
Not every path to a great career runs through a four-year campus.
From Franklin Park to Salve Regina, Chris Taylor has earned his place in the Ouimet class of 2030.
Surprise, Chris!
We are proud to share our gratitude for our partnership with Acushnet Company, home of Titleist and FootJoy — a show of support that helps advance The Fund's mission. Acushnet's generosity strengthens our ability to invest in deserving students as they pursue their academic goals, and we're grateful for their continued commitment to the game of golf, opportunity through education, and the communities it supports.

We are excited to expand eligibility for the Ouimet Scholarship to students attending post-secondary trade schools. This is an increasingly valuable and in-demand pathway to success for young people. These future entrepreneurs have identified the opportunity, and we applaud their choice and the strong career outcomes they can create in today’s dynamic economy. All Ouimet Scholars are still eligible to receive a scholarship for up to four years and must meet the working criteria of two seasons of on-course employment at a Massachusetts golf course. Offering scholarship opportunities for these students is part of our continued organizational evolution, and we look forward to our first group of trade school recipients this fall!
