We are excited to expand eligibility for the Ouimet Scholarship to students attending post-secondary trade schools. This is an increasingly valuable and in-demand pathway to success for young people. These future entrepreneurs have identified the opportunity, and we applaud their choice and the strong career outcomes they can create in today’s dynamic economy. All Ouimet Scholars are still eligible to receive a scholarship for up to four years and must meet the working criteria of two seasons of on-course employment at a Massachusetts golf course. Offering scholarship opportunities for these students is part of our continued organizational evolution, and we look forward to our first group of trade school recipients this fall!
