June has been a busy month will several events benefitting Ouimet Endowed Awards.

It started on June 1 when the New England Senior Golfers Association held their annual Jarboe Tournament Dinner at Brae Burn Country Club. A special highlight of the evening was the presentation of a plaque to Scholar Teddy Griffin of Woodland Golf Club and Fordham University. Griffin is the 2014 Jack Casey New England Senior Golfers Association Scholarship recipient.

The next event was June 4 at the 24th Cape Cod Open which benefits the Ouimet’s Guy Tedesco Scholarship. The Ouimet Fund was on hand to present the Tedesco Bowl for Low Amateur to Pine Hills Golf Club’s Herbie Aikens.

Finally, the 5th Annual James McDonough Four-Ball Invitational was held at Wollaston Golf Club on June 15. Connor McDonagh-Poh, the 2014 James McDonough Scholarship recipient, was introduced at the dinner. Connor attends Salem State University and worked at Holden Hills Golf Club.
