Running from January through March, the Ouimet Fund’s 2013 Golf Essay Contest gave lovers of the game the chance to win great prizes and participate in the Ouimet 100 celebration.  The original motto of the Francis Ouimet Scholarship Fund was, and still remains, “From what golf has given you, let’s give back to golf.”  During this Centennial year, we continue to ask, “What has golf given you, and why is it so special in your life?”

Contest participants wrote personal essays celebrating the game of golf and winners were selected by a panel of judges.  Prizes included a Titleist custom fitting with set of Titleist clubs, tickets to May’s Centennial Gala, golf at The Country Club, Ouimet 100 merchandise, and more!

Congratulations to Grand Prize Winner Kimberlee Ryan, and Runner-Ups Sean Gill (’94) and David Morine (’66).
