Financial Aid Eligibility
Applicants are rated on a competitive ranking system that objectively measures a student’s all-around qualifications. Eligibility for financial awards is determined by analysis of need by submission of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), and the CSS/PROFILE.
As part of the qualifications for our scholarship, we require the student to show financial need. Should an applicant show no financial need, but exhibit all of the other requirements, we offer an HONORARY scholar status. Honorary scholars receive no financial aid, but participate in all social and peer events offered by The Fund. Should the financial need change, the student would be considered for aid after the appropriate financial forms are submitted to The Fund.
Confidentiality
The completed application will be used to assess your qualifications to be considered a Ouimet Scholar. The interviewers, the Scholarship Committee, and designated Ouimet Fund staff will be the only persons seeing or using this information. Interviewers are not given family financial information.
