Ouimet Alum’s Marathon Efforts Honor John Creney

Ouimet Alumnus Kris Hart (left) played and fund raised in the 2008 Ouimet Marathon representing Bass River and Bayberry Hills Golf Courses on Cape Cod. He’s pictured at a Ouimet dinner in honor of John Creney, a popular Ouimet supporter from Bass River, Bayberry Hills and Oyster Harbors who died in 2008.  Hart, along with Jim McNeill, Mr. Creney’s best friend, organized the dinner at Bass River.

 

Ouimet Caddies at Deutsche Bank Championship

Ted Smith, Ouimet Scholar from Worcester CC and the Ouimet Fund’s 2009 Tiger Woods Foundation Endowed Scholarship winner, caddies in pro-am with Tiger Woods' group at the Deutsche Bank Championship Pro Am. Ouimet Caddies (l-r) Ted Smith, Michael Barrett, and Eric Jacobsen pose on 18 after caddying in the Deutsche Bank Championship Pro-am on September 3rd. The three caddied for amateurs playing with Tiger Woods at TPC Boston, as the Ouimet Fund again staffed and organized the amateur caddies during championship week. All caddies donned 60th Anniversary Ouimet hats and each caddie bib displayed the name of the Francis Ouimet Scholarship Fund on the back. Photos by Ned Cully.
