Winchester Country ClubWinchester Country Club, Monday, June 1st
Winchester, MA

The Ouimet Society will kick off its 2009 season at one of the best courses in the state. The rolling fairways of Winchester country club have played host to two Massachusetts Open Championships and six Massachusetts Amateur Championships, with the first one it hosted being Winchester Country Clubwon by, guess who, Francis D. Ouimet in 1919, 90 years ago!

We are thrilled to revisit this fantastic course and hope that you can join us for a memorable day!



Brae Burn Country ClubBrae Burn Country Club, Monday, July 20th
West Newton, MA

The Ouimet Society’s second of three will be a General Play and Husband and Wife/Mixed outing at Brae Burn Country Club, regarded as one of the best courses in Massachusetts. Players will be treated to an immaculate golf course and a reception afterwards with a short speaking program/prize ceremony. Players will be able to walk the fairways where some of the greats once played, including Walter Hagen and Bobby Jones. We hope to see you there!

Golf Club of Cape CodThe Golf Club of Cape Cod, Monday, October 5th
Falmouth, MA

The last of our three events is at an up-and-coming course on Cape Cod which was recently ranked #4 among Best New Courses by Golf Week Magazine. The Golf Club of Cape Cod is a treat designed by Rees Jones. This event will be our The Golf Club of Cape CodNEPGA Pro-Am and will be played in 5-somes, and the terrain will be an experience for Professionals and Amateurs alike! Don’t miss out on your chance to play one of the best new courses in the country!

Ouimet SocietyThe Francis Ouimet Society is a special membership group of Ouimet Fund supporters. The group was founded as The Par Club in 1968, and changed its name to The Francis Ouimet Society in 1992. The Ouimet Society offers a broad range of membership programs, including special Lifetime and Distinguished Memberships. Ouimet Society members are eligible to play in outings at outstanding golf courses in Massachusetts.
