Bag Tag Program
The Bag Tag program has been the principal Ouimet fundraising source over the years. It is the great link between The Fund and clubs in a unique partnership by which The Fund is able to provide so much support to the young people who
work at our clubs . The Ouimet Fund had several special programs celebrating its Golden Anniversary with its clubs and supporters!
Over the past four years, the success of the Bag Tag program has allowed the Ouimet Fund to continue to grow the scholarship total each year! All of this has been done efficiently, with administrative expenses reduced again in fiscal 2007 to 5.8% of net fundraising revenue. Your support is directly helping the Ouimet Fund help kids.
Annual Ouimet Scholarship Awards
- 2004 - $700,000 in Scholarships
- 2005 - $1 Million in Scholarships
- 2006 - $1.15 Million in Scholarships
- 2007 - $1.3 Million in Scholarships
The Fund continues its effort to keep pace with the rising cost of college tuition as this donation is directed 100% toward 2007 Ouimet scholarships. The Ouimet Fund continues to keep the pledge of donating more than what is raised in the Bag Tag program to the year’s scholarships. There are special programs for private and public courses, with the private courses funding the $50.00 Sponsor Tag and the public courses the $10.00 Booster Tag.

Club Relations Committee:
The Ouimet Fund offers a variety of support systems to make these programs work at a club. The Fund also has an organized Club Relations Committee. Liaisons serve to help clubs enhance or build their Bag Tag Program.

Caddie Program Support (Caddie Manual and DVD):
The Ouimet Fund provides outstanding training materials for caddies. The primary program is a 35 minute dvd on caddie instruction and a related brochure. The dvd was originally developed by the Evans Fund/Western Golf Association. Please contact the Ouimet Fund for information.
